With all the sensational news to pick from lately, I’m enthralled by Gov. Sanford and his Maria. Sad for all involved, yet very romantic (yeah, I said it). Sooo Harlequin Romance. Successful politician in love with a South American beauty, longing for the simple life. His high-powered, unattached wife; Maria’s tan lines. But after reading a few of their published e-mails (can you imagine??), it could also be very Green Acres.
Regardless, I’ve already chosen Team Maria. I hope they live happily ever after in a tango-induced dream. Most importantly, does this mean we all have a beautiful Latin soul mate waiting for us on the beaches of Argentina?
