Hitting the Blog Wall

Wow, i'm just starting to realize how hard it is to keep up with a blog. And the harder I try to think of something to write, the emptier my head gets. We've done a lot since the last post ... hmm, but how do I organize so many thoughts?

Our main activity was heading to Austin for friend Shawn's wedding. It was at a beautiful place called House on the Hill (aptly named). I barely made it up said hill, but the grounds were beautiful, and the wedding, reception, dinner, cake, etc., all were great. Even had a kids room, complete with a PlayStation. Alex played Rock Star with a couple other kids. She's been dying to try out those drums ever since she saw them in a store. She also played guitar. The one older kid, about 7, pretty much ran the show, telling the littler ones (and me :p) how to play. Then, he selects a song -- Eye of the Tiger -- grabs the mic, and says, "I'm good at this one." And he was.

We left the party about 11:30 -- just as well. We heard today from friend Missi that lots of interesting things happened after we left. And I'll leave it at that.

Alex had a few nosebleeds during this trip -- I think they all were triggered by sneezing fits. Allergies, I'm sure. She hasn't sneezed since we got back.
