Wow, had snow on top of sleet overnight, so school (and work!) was closed today. And this after like 75 degrees on Saturday (spent the afternoon at Trader's Village, turkey leg and all). Arlington ISD already closed tomorrow, too; let's see if Novation is as merciful. Tonight should be the coldest in DFW in a decade, said the man on the news.
Haven't posted in a while. Let's see:
- Alex is selling Girl Scout cookies. Doing well, despite not working any of the troop's booths this year. Selling for another 2-3 weeks, I believe
- At church, was called to be an adviser for the 16- and 17-year-old young women. Sooo excited about that. Hope I don't scar them for life; they have far more to teach me than I do them.
- Puppy Benjamin is 7 months old now and is taller and bigger than Peaches, who is almost 7 years old. He has eaten my rose bushes, pulled a huge Mexican sage out of the ground, and ate my ficus and other potted tree. He's adorable. We love him. He's chews everything, including people.
- Crocheting is coming along. I'm about scarfed out; have some fingerless gloves/wristlets to get to, and then dishcloths.
I'm sure there's more, all just as exciting, but will have to think on it ...
Finally a post!
